Synopsis: High school student Peter Parker is bitten by a genetically modified spider and gains superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to cling to surfaces. After his beloved Uncle Ben is killed by a criminal he failed to stop, Peter learns the lesson "with great power comes great responsibility" and becomes the masked hero Spider-Man. As he balances his dual life, he faces the Green Goblin—his best friend Harry’s father, Norman Osborn, who has been corrupted by an experimental performance-enhancing serum. The Goblin threatens New York City, and Peter must confront him to protect the city and those he loves, including his crush Mary Jane Watson.
