Synopsis: Dr. Stephen Strange is a brilliant but arrogant neurosurgeon whose career is destroyed when a car crash leaves his hands severely injured. Desperate for a cure, he travels to Kamar-Taj in Nepal, where he meets the Ancient One—a sorcerer who teaches him the mystic arts and reveals that Earth is protected by magical sanctums from interdimensional threats. As Strange trains, he learns to manipulate time and reality using mystical artifacts like the Eye of Agamotto. When the rogue sorcerer Kaecilius—who believes death is an illusion—attacks the sanctums to summon the dark dimension’s ruler Dormammu and merge Earth with his realm, Strange must master his new abilities quickly. To stop Dormammu, Strange uses the Eye of Agamotto to trap himself and the dark lord in a time loop, forcing Dormammu to bargain: in exchange for Strange ending the loop, he will take Kaecilius and leave Earth forever.
